In 1986 Rose Gentile, CLTC was considering her employment options. She recalls fondly that her dad said that New York Life Insurance was a great company to work for. She took her father’s advice and joined his successful business and has not regretted that decision.

Rose worked hard in her new position with her father, eagerly learning all that she could about the insurance business. Her brother, Matthew, joined the business two years after Rose. When their father passed away in 2004, Rose and Matthew were well-prepared to continue to run the business.

“My father always taught us that the customer comes first and that may explain why so many of our clients who started with us in 1964 still use our services today as well as refer their family and friends to us. We are grateful and proud to have so many loyal clients. I enjoy working in insurance because I like helping others solve their financial issues. When Rose is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Now that her girls are both away at college, she plans to take some time to travel to Florida where she will work remotely a couple of months each year.

Matthew S.  Gentile, LUTCF^® partners with his sister Rose to carry on the family tradition established in 1964 by his father, Frank N. Gentile, CLU^® of assisting his clients with their insurance and investment needs.  Like his father, Matthew has achieved a long track record of trust and professional assistance to his clientele in his local community and throughout the country while serving as a New York Life agent for 29 years.  He is a Registered Representative offering securities through NYLIFE Securities LLC.  Having reached the milestone of 20 years of service with New York Life, Matthew has achieved the title of Senior NYLIC. Additionally he is a Life Member of the insurance industries prestigious Million Dollar Round Table^*.  Matthew makes his home only a few short blocks from his office with his spouse Alena and daughter Angela.  Aside from working with his clients to help them achieve their financial goals, Matthew enjoys sailing, restoring his historic townhouse in Old Town Alexandria VA and tending to his coy pond, salt water aquarium and cycling.
